Mark Andrada (Jeff)
Mark is a Canadian Comedy Award winning performer/writer/director. On stage Mark originated the role of Swan/Chief in the World Premier of Trey Parker's Cannibal! The Musical. He has also worked as a puppeteer for The Canadian Opera Company, and as a clown for Canadian Stage, Zero Gravity Circus, and (with a terrific amount of unsuccess and irony) at a comedy club called Clownz in Quezon City in the Philippines. Mark has performed sketch and improv comedy as a member of The Second City, The Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, and toured Canada as 1/2 of the performance comedy duo 10,000 to Flight. Film and TV appearances include: Man of the Year (Universal), Man Seeking Woman (FX), 12 Monkeys (Syfy), Rick Mercer Report (CBC), Odd Squad (PBS), Covert Affairs (NBC/USA Network). As a director, Mark is responsible for 2-Man No-Show parts 1 & 3 (do not blame him for part 2), as well as Sandra Battaglini's Hard Headed Woman. Mark is also a dilettante lighting designer: Off Broadway On Stage (Angelwalk), Stephan Maccio In Concert, Louise Pitre and Jackie Richardson – Heart and Soul (Jeffrey Latimer Entertainment). One time, Mark even designed the lights for Dinosaurs Unearthed! an animatronic dinosaur exhibit at the Detroit Science Centre. Neat, huh? markandrada.com is rarely updated, but go for it!
Tess Barao (Alison)
Tess is a Toronto-based actor and a graduate of Theatre Sheridan's Musical Theatre Performance program. She also honed her on-camera skills at Pro Actor's Studio and Armstrong Acting Studio, and graduated from the Second City Improv Training program. Previous roles have included Maureen in Rent, The Witch in Into the Woods, Marion Paroo in The Music Man, and The Fly in Happy End. Big thanks to mom and Tim. Miss you daddy.
Kelly Holiff (Maddie)
Kelly has been the voice for foundations and corporations such as Heart and Stroke, Fallen Rock, Sick Kids and Tim Hortons. When she is not in the theatre, Kelly can be seen fronting bands at venues like the ACC and The Rogers Centre. Recent theatre credits include Taking The A Train (Soulpepper), Uncovered (Acting Upstage), Ms. Stacy in Anne Of Green Gables (Charlottetown), Hairspray (Port Hope), Sound of Music (Theatre Aquarius), and Magenta in Rocky Horror Picture Show x3 (everywhere). She has taken on roles of entertainment icons such as Rosemary Clooney, Janis Joplin and Marie Dressler. Kelly recently finished her second holiday tour with Colm Wilkinson, as his special guest and most recently, was featured in Any Dream Will Do (Angelwalk Theatre) and Everybody's Got A Story (Angelwalk). Coming up in August, you can catch Kelly in Somewhere Over The Rainbow; The Music Of Harold Arlen, playing at Theatre Collingwood and The Mady Centre.
Shane Hollon (Dillon)
Shane is a writer, performer, occasional model and activist from Toronto, Ontario. His past writing credits include former Fringe favorites ByoLogyc: Where You Become New (2012) and Liza Live! Byron Laviolette (Book, Director)
Byron is the director and dramaturg for the Dora award-winning Morro and Jasp clown series with U.N.I.T. Productions. He was also the Creative Director of The Mission Business, the Digi award-winning experience design agency whose clients included Microsoft, Autodesk, Starbucks and NASA. Byron hold a Ph. D. in Interactivity and Play Theory from York University.
Barbara Johnston (Music & Lyrics, Music Director)
Barbara is Toronto based performer and a Dora nominated writer and director. Writing credits include - with Anika Johnson: Blood Ties (Next Stage Festial/SummerWorks/Edinburgh Fringe/featured on BBC America's Orphan Black), and Elly's Emotions (2015 Dora nominee, Outstanding TYA Production); Summerland (with Suzy Wilde; Toronto Fringe 2015, Edge of the Sky Theatre) The Fence (with Suzy Wilde; Toronto Fringe 2016, Edge of the Sky Theatre) and is three musical commissions for The Randolph Academy. Performing credits include ‘Vera’ in Doctor Silver (Outside the March), The Fence and Daughters of Feminists (Toronto Fringe, 2015), principal roles on TV’s Orphan Black and Private Eyes. Barbara has been seen on stages across North America as Ginger Spice in Wannabe: The Spice Girls Tribute Band, and will be heading to the Persian Gulf with the band in the fall. She stars as ‘Gwen Stefani’ in Spiderwebs: The No Doubt Tribute Band and works as a singer with Sean Jones, gigging with multiple bands in Toronto. She has directed/choreographed for Outside the March and soon with The Musical Stage Company and musical directed for Expect Theatre’s Beats and Intentions project. Barbara works regularly with the award winning Wexford Gleeks (Wexford School for the Arts) and runs a private music studio. She is back working with Edge of the Sky on this year’s fringe show True North Mix-Tape. She is thrilled to be a part of the MKBT team.
Suzy Wilde (Music & Lyrics, Music Director)
Suzy is delighted to be on board for MKBP! A versatile musician, composer, and performer from Toronto, Wilde's music can be heard all over the place. She written and arranged for Musical Theatre (with Johnson and Johnston: The Fence, Toronto Fringe 2016 and Summerland, Toronto Fringe 2015) , Kids' Choirs (The Wexford Gleeks, The Annex Childrens' Theatre, Regent Park School of Music) and plays in a country music band called Dirty Dishes. ...She also plays Posh Spice in Wannabe: The Spice Girls Tribute Band.
Brian Goldenberg (Conceiver, Producer)
Brian works professionally as a theatre producer, music director, songwriter/arranger, performer (piano, trumpet, voice), and educator. He has worked as a Business Consultant for Dancap Productions, the Director of Business and Development for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation, Assistant Producer at Acting Up Stage Company, and Executive Director for Theatre 20. Currently, Brian is the Artistic & Executive Director for Angelwalk Theatre, a musical theatre company that he founded in 2009, and the Artistic & Executive Producer for Goldenberg Productions, a theatre development, licensing and production company. For the past eight years, Brian has served as the Artistic Director/Producer for Vanier College Productions at York University. A two-time graduate of York University (BFA in Music, Schulich MBA specializing in Arts & Media Management), his theatre productions have been nominated for 16 Dora Mavor Moore Awards and have won 1 Dora Mavor Moore Award. Brian has worked extensively as a music director and music arranger for various musical theatre productions and choirs. An accomplished songwriter, Brian won first-place in an In Front Magazine Music Contest for his song “Music Will Always Lead Me Home”, and wrote the music and additional lyrics for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Theme Song. His original musical, Seven of Us made its Toronto debut in the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival. Brian is a recipient of the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Citizenship Award, the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Aces in Action Award, and three SINGular Sensation BackDoora Awards for contributions to the Toronto theatre community.

A two-time graduate of Ryerson’s Theatre School, Jeff worked as a technician, actor, designer and director around Toronto for several years before flirting with disillusionment. In 2001, Jeff became a high school drama teacher. Since that moment his creative output has increased exponentially. From writing shows and music to much acclaim at the Fringe and Summerworks festivals in Toronto, directing various productions and creating Charcoal Sketch Productions as a creative lab for new work and young performers, to releasing his own solo record, Self-Portrait: 13 Songs That Paint a picture of Me, Jeff has been going almost non-stop for years.
