Hailey Lewis (Jay)
Hailey is very excited to be making her Fringe Festival debut as Jay, in Jay & Shilo's Sibling Revelry. A recent graduate of the Sheridan College Musical Theatre degree program, Hailey's recent credits include: Ensemble in Sousatzka at the Elgin Theatre and Tiff in Prom Queen: The Musical at the Segal Centre Stage. Hailey would like to thank her family, friends and The Talent House, for continuously encouraging her to reach for the stars!
Jennifer Walls (Tallulah)
Jennifer is a Toronto based performer, producer and voice actor. She has performed across North America and Europe sharing the number of prestigious performers including Ben Vereen, Rebecca Caine and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
She has earned critical acclaim for her solo work, most notably for her portrayal of Liza Minnelli in Liza Live! and for her autobiographical rock cabaret Jagged Little Me. She was a finalist on CBC's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria and named an "artist to watch" by Now magazine. Jay & Shilo's Sibling Revelry marks Jennifer's twelfth production at the Toronto Fringe and one of three she is performing in at this year's festival. (you can also see her in Thick And Thin Theatre's Seeking Refuge and July 5th's Confidential Musical Theatre Project). Jennifer is also the host/producer of SINGular Sensation, Toronto's premier weekly musical theatre open stage (catch them July 6th at 8pm at the Fringe Club!) and is the voice of the Family Jr. channel.
Joseph Zita (Shilo)
Joseph is thrilled to be making his Toronto Fringe Festival debut! Joseph is a Toronto based actor, and proud graduate of the University of Windsor and the Stella Adler Studio in New York. Anthony Bastianon (Music, Music Director)
Anthony has over 150 productions to his credit as a musical director including: Joseph (Drayton Entertainment); Shrek & Mamma Mia (Rainbow Stage, Winnipeg); Mary Poppins (Globe Theatre, Regina); Jesus Christ Superstar and The Wedding Singer (Hart House); Spelling Bee (Grand Theatre, London. ON), Godspell (Sheridan College), 13 seasons with Stage West Theatre (includes 40 productions such as Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, Cabaret, Fiddler On The Roof); Tick Tick Boom, Songs For A New World, Title of Show (Angelwalk Theatre); Myths And Hymns (Talk Is Free Theatre); Seussical (Theatre Aquarius). As a composer, Anthony has written music for Rob Ford The Musical (Toronto), Not In My Backyard (Port Stanley Festival Theatre); Nursery School Musical (performances in Toronto and Houston); The Decameron (Toronto Workshop); award-winning Fringe show I'm Right Here (best musical by Broadwayworld.com). His versatility as a musician has brought him opportunities to work with pop celebrities such as Chantel Kreviazuk, Dan Hill and Josh Groban as well as theatre icons Andrea Martin and Michael Burgess. He is currently on faculty at the Sheridan College Music Theatre Performance Program and is the artistic director of the new Voices Rock Canada.
Alisse Lee Goldenberg (Book)
Alisse Lee Goldenberg is an award winning author of Horror, Young Adult Paranormal Romance, and Young Adult Fantasy fiction. She is currently working on three series: The Sitnalta Series, The Dybbuk Scrolls, and The Bath Salts Journals (co-authored with An Tran). She has her Bachelors of Education and a Fine Arts degree, and has studied fantasy and folk lore since she was a child. Alisse is also a voice actress living in Toronto with her husband Brian, and their triplets Joseph, Phillip, and Hailey.
Brett McCaig (Lyrics)
Brett McCaig has been an actor, writer and producer of Musical Theatre for over 20 years. Some recent Toronto successes include: "Nursery School Musical", at the Berkeley Street Theatre, "Rob Ford the Musical" at the Factory Theatre and "I'm Right Here" for the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival. Brett McCaig is also no stranger to the Fringe Festival. Some festival favourites of his include: "Bosco and Jones", "Nursery School Musical", and "Waiting for Trudeau: the return of the king" He is ecstatic as always to be working with such an amazing team of artists.
Lily Chan (Stage Manager)
Lily Chan is a graduate of the Ryerson School of Performance where she has honed her skills in a multitude of theatrical elements. She works as a freelance stage manager and lighting designer and aspires to become a more proficient manager of various productions. When not immersed in a productions she can be found supporting her friends as emerging artists.
Brian Goldenberg (Producer)
Brian works professionally as a theatre producer, music director, songwriter/arranger, performer (piano, trumpet, voice), and educator. He has worked as a Business Consultant for Dancap Productions, the Director of Business and Development for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation, Assistant Producer at Acting Up Stage Company, and Executive Director for Theatre 20. Currently, Brian is the Artistic & Executive Director for Angelwalk Theatre, a musical theatre company that he founded in 2009, and the Artistic & Executive Producer for Goldenberg Productions, a theatre development, licensing and production company. For the past eight years, Brian has served as the Artistic Director/Producer for Vanier College Productions at York University. A two-time graduate of York University (BFA in Music, Schulich MBA specializing in Arts & Media Management), his theatre productions have been nominated for 16 Dora Mavor Moore Awards and have won 1 Dora Mavor Moore Award. Brian has worked extensively as a music director and music arranger for various musical theatre productions and choirs. An accomplished songwriter, Brian won first-place in an In Front Magazine Music Contest for his song “Music Will Always Lead Me Home”, and wrote the music and additional lyrics for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Theme Song. His original musical, Seven of Us made its Toronto debut in the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival. Brian is a recipient of the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Citizenship Award, the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Aces in Action Award, and three SINGular Sensation BackDoora Awards for contributions to the Toronto theatre community.
Jeff Jones (Producer, Technical Director)
A two-time graduate of Ryerson’s Theatre School, Jeff worked as a technician, actor, designer and director around Toronto for several years before flirting with disillusionment. In 2001, Jeff became a high school drama teacher. Since that moment his creative output has increased exponentially. From writing shows and music to much acclaim at the Fringe and Summerworks festivals in Toronto, directing various productions and creating Charcoal Sketch Productions as a creative lab for new work and young performers, to releasing his own solo record, Self-Portrait: 13 Songs That Paint a picture of Me, Jeff has been going almost non-stop for years.
